AS 4602.1:2024 HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY GARMENTS The Australian standard that sets out the requirements for high‑visibility safety garments used in high‑risk environments where workers may be exposed to moving traffic, machinery, or plant. The 2024 revision expands the garment classification system by introducing defined levels within Class N and Class D/N garments, based on the amount and placement of high‑visibility materials across the body—including, for the first time, the legs and lower portions of coveralls—to ensure more accurate matching of garments to varying operational hazards.
